Pokémon bread, which has been popular for the first time in 24 years and is causing a sold-out crisis everywhere, has been controversial due to actions beyond common sense, such as allowing some convenience store owners to sell it or purchase more than a certain amount.

On the 21st, an online community posted a post titled "Convenience Store Crossing the Line." One photo was attached to the post, and the contents of the photo are posted at the entrance of the convenience store, saying, "We sell it only to regular customers and those with receipts for purchases of 30,000 won or more," and "We will not sell it even if we wait."

The publisher said, "No matter how popular Pokemon bread is, it looked too much, so I was offended," adding, "I went to buy other things, but I just came back."

Recently, due to the re-launch of Pokemon bread, some convenience store owners are causing controversy over their items as Pokemon bread is out of stock.

Some convenience store owners used "stick-in-sell" business techniques. An online community post released a photo, saying, "In some cases, I had to buy Pokemon bread with other items worth about 5,000 won."

As the supply shortage of Pokemon bread continued, posts selling stickers enclosed with Pokemon bread were also posted on used trading platforms such as the carrot market.

In response, an official from SPC Samlip explained, "We are operating the production line 24 hours a day to supply as many products as possible, but there are difficulties due to too much demand."
