At a franchise beauty salon, an employee accidentally puts another drug in a hair dye and a customer complains of hair loss.

It is a hair salon brand with nearly 30 stores nationwide.

The salon promised compensation for damages to customers, but changed its attitude that it could not compensate when the insurance company that signed up refused to pay insurance money.

Reporter Lee Moon-seok reports exclusively.

Mr. Jeong, who came on a business trip to Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, dyed his hair at a famous franchise beauty salon searched on the Internet on the 2nd.

I was washing my hair that night, and my heart dropped with a "thump."

[Mr. Jung / Victim: My hand didn't feel good, so I looked, but my hair was all over the place.]

At first, the hair salon admitted to the mistake and promised compensation for damages, saying that the hair was pressed and broken by accidentally mixing other drugs with hair dye.

The staff explained that I should have added an oxidizing agent to the dye, but I didn't know and added a medicine to straighten my curly hair.

In this case, Jeong received a doctor's opinion that he is on medication for hair loss and dermatitis, and that he should follow up on the possibility of hair loss in the future.

The real problem arose when a non-life insurance company subscribed to a beauty salon refused to pay insurance premiums.

The beauty salon changed its attitude that it could not compensate for damages on its own if insurance money was not paid.

Legal experts pointed out that the salon's response was inappropriate.

[Lim Sung-moon/Lawyer: The owner of the salon shall be directly responsible for any damages incurred by his/her responsibility, and the owner of the salon shall not be exempted from liability just because the insurance company does not pay the insurance money]

The beauty salon declined to interview.

At the same time, Chung refused to provide his own "hair loss clinic" and claimed that they were rather bothered by frequent phone calls.

Eventually, Jeong, who couldn't stand it, decided to file a compensation suit.

[Mr. Jung / Victim: I became so angry as I saw their attitude gradually change.]

When the coverage began, the beauty salon said it would proceed with the process of finding an agreement at the headquarters level.
